These mounted circular levels can be used free standing, or mounted to a reference surface with the two screw holes provided. They are set level with reference to the bottom surface of the precision machined housing. When the level is on a perfectly level surface the bubble will be central to the centering circle within 0.5mm tolerance.
The levels have plastic vials which are lower cost and virtually unbreakable, but also can be produced using glass vials which give a better appearance, and higher accuracy.
